Student Express Benefits
Policy Maximum: $250,000
Deductible: $100 or $50 based on citizenship
US citizens studying in abroad:
Plan A & B: 80% to $10,000, then 100% to plan maximum
Plan C & D: 100% to plan maximum
Plan E & F: 80% to plan maximum
NON US citizens studying in US
Plan M & O: 80% to $10,000, then 100% to plan maximum
Inpatient - Payable at 50%, up to $10,000 up to a max of 45 days.
Outpatient - Payable at 80% , up to $500.
Non-US Students - $5,000.
US-Students - Up to policy Maximum.
Accidental death & dismemberment - $10,000 for insured.
Alcohol and drug abuse - Inpatient/Outpatient (payable at 50% up to $1,000)
Home country coverage - $1,000.
Other Emergency Care
Emergency Medical Evacuation - Up to $100,000.
Repatriation of Mortal Remains - Up to $25,000.
Emergency Reunion - $5,000.
Other Emergency Care:
Emergency Medical Evacuation: Up to $300,000 policy maximum.
Return of Mortal Remains: Up to $50,000.
Emergency Reunion: $50,000.
Local Ambulance expenses: $5,000.
Plan life: The minimum period of coverage under Student Express is 15 days, maximum is 12 months.

Student Express satisfies j1 visa requirements
J1 Visa requires that the insurance plan must offer a coverage of at least $50,000 per accident or illness and Student Express Insurance satisfies this requirement by offering a maximum medical benefit of $250,000
J1 Visa requires that the insurance plan must offer a coverage of $7,500 for Repatriation of remains and Student Express Insurance covers repatriation of remains up to $25,000
J1 Visa requires that the insurance plan must offer a coverage of $10,000 for Emergency Medical Evacuation and Student Express Insurance covers emergency medical evacuation up to $100,000
J1 Visa requires that the deductible should not exceed $500 per accident or illness and Student Express Insurance has a deductible of up to $100 per illness or injury
