  • It insurance offers health insurance benefits to overseas travelers, expatriates and international citizens by following the benefit plans of a US medical program.
  • It is a "Scheduled Benefit Plan" with specified amounts payable for certain treatments.
 

Reside Prime Benefits

  • Policy Maximum: $5,000,000 per Insured Person.
  • Deductible: $250; $500; $1,000; $2,500; $5,000.
    Maximum of 3 Deductible payments for families registering on 1 application.
  • Co-insurance:
    • For treatment received inside the US and Canada:
      After the Deductible, the Policy pays 80% of the next $5,000 of Eligible Expenses, then 100% up to the Policy Maximum
    • For treatment received outside the US and Canada:
      After the Deductible, the Policy pays 100% of Eligible Expenses to the Policy Maximum.
  • Eligibility: This plan is available to persons of any country who are at least 15 days of age and who have not yet reached age 75.
    • U.S citizens Applicants/Insured Persons must either be outside the United States at the time of application/renewal, or must depart the United States within 30 days of the Certificate's Effective Date/Renewal Date. In addition, the Insured Person must reside outside the United States at least 6 months during any given 12-month Certificate Period to meet the Eligibility Requirements of an Insured Person. Should any Insured Person reside in the United States longer than 6 months during any given 12-month Certificate Period, their Coverage shall immediately terminate.
    • For Non-U.S citizensApplicants/Insured Persons must be outside the United States at the time of application renewal, or must depart the United States within 30 days of the Certificate's Effective Date/Renewal Date. In addition, the Insured Person must reside outside the United States at least 6 months during any given 12-month Certificate Period to meet the Eligibility Requirements of an Insured Person. Should any Insured Person reside in the United States longer than 6 months during any given 12-month Certificate period, their Coverage shall immediately terminate. States at the time of application/renewal, or must depart the United States within 30 days of the Certificate's Effective.
  •  Pre-Existing Coverage: If an existing medical condition is fully and accurately disclosed on the application, and the condition is not excluded or restricted by an exclusionary rider, your pre-existing condition will be covered up to a lifetime maximum of $50,000 ($5,000 limit per year) after you have been continuously insured for 24 months.
  • Additional Coverage:
    • Accidental death & dismemberment: $10,000 for insured and spouse.
    • Common carrier accidental death: $40,000 for insured and spouse.
  • Other Emergency Care:
    • Emergency Medical Evacuation: Up to $250,000 limit.
    • Return of Mortal Remains: Up to $25,000.
    • Emergency Reunion: $10,000.
  • Underwriter: Underwritten by Sirius International Insurance Corporation, a Lloyd's, London.
